In general, the best way to get your lawn healthy and weed-free is to improve your stand of desirable grass, which provides a natural barrier to helping keep the weeds out. Granular fertilizer and aeration are the two best ways to do that in addition to help from normal rainfall and/or watering. Ag-Grow starts the year with a heavy shot of fertilizer in Application #1 which also is the time to prevent crabgrass from germinating. We end the year with a slow-release winterizer, which is the best time of the year experts say to put fertilizer down on your lawn. It also helps with earlier spring green up the next year.
