CRABGRASS PREVENTER

Ag-Grow starts the year with a heavy shot of fertilizer in Application #1 which also is the time to prevent crabgrass from germinating.

AERATION

Aeration can be scheduled in the spring and/or fall. Aeration is the practice of “pulling dirt plugs” from your lawn. Again, experts say it is the best “cultural practice” you can do for your lawn to help it resist disease, become thicker, and better utilize the fertilizer and moisture your lawn is getting throughout the year because it helps the lawn naturally process thatch (dead grass that appears tan/yellowish) faster.

BROADLEAF CONTROL

Weeds are best controlled through liquid weed-control applications. Our program has liquid applications for weeds in the spring, summer, and early fall.

WINTER FERTILIZER

We end the year with a slow-release winterizer, which is the best time of the year experts say to put fertilizer down on your lawn. It also helps with earlier spring green up the next year.

GRUB CONTROL (OPTIONAL)

We use small granular pellets that sink into the soil and killing off grubs. This prevents them from spreading further into your yard and killing off established grass.

FUNGUS PREVENTER/KILLER (OPTIONAL)

Fungicide is sprayed on with a liquid base to penetrate the surface of the soil and killing off all invasive funguses.
